The manager, “Tsu-“, is also one of the owners who drives at the Yamanashi field SWRC as a KC10 owner. Here, I will honestly write about how far you can push it to tackle each section of SWRC with a stock assembly KC10.
What is SWRC?
SWRC (SUPERWILD RC and Camp Field) is a dedicated RC crawler field located at 1613 Mitsumigawaura Enkawa, Yamashiri City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The driving area exceeds 5000㎡, and it is referred to as one of the largest crawler fields in Japan.
Located from the city center by car for about 120 minutes. It takes about 25 minutes to arrive from the Katsunuma IC on the Chuo Expressway. You can come for a day trip to drive, or since there is an attached campground, you can stay and talk until late at night.
The heart of the field is the crawler course “Crawler Paradise,” featuring rocky terrain, streams, forests, and tree roots. This article introduces the course from five perspectives: rock, water’s edge, trail, rally, and buggy. Both EP (electric) and GP (gas-powered) vehicles are welcome; KC10 cars can be brought as is.
Section Guide: How far can you go with a stock KC10?
Rock Section Difficulty Level ★★★
An area where the true capabilities of a crawler are tested as you climb over rock ledges. While the KC10’s wheelbase and suspension stroke seem capable of handling basic rock crawling, sections with consecutive large steps may lead to easy stalling if left in a stock configuration. This is a type of section that can be transformed by adding weight or selecting the right tires. It is recommended to start from an easier line first without overextending yourself. Details on line selection Rocky Terrain Course Guideis summarized.
Stream/Waterfront Section Difficulty: ★★☆
An area where you cross puddles and shallow streams. While KC10 is waterproof, do not over-rely on it; if you choose a line that keeps the electronics from getting wet, even an assembly-only model can often run well. Rather, it serves as practice for reading changes in grip due to road surface mud. How to read water isthe Stream Course Conquest Guide.is also recommended to be used. A section relatively easy to recommend to first-time visitors.
Trail Section Difficulty: ★☆☆
A section where you move forward as if ‘walking’ by following footprints in the woods. Since there are fewer sudden steps, even an assembly-only KC10 can be run safely. I think it is best to **first** start here to get used to SWRC on your first visit.
Rally Section Difficulty: ★★★
Buggy Section Difficulty: ★★☆
An area where you test speed and control in open sections. While a crawler like the KC10 does not have the agility of buggy racers, it is an enjoyable place to practice your controls. Here too, try running it once with just an assembly-only model; if you feels insufficient, you can then think about revising your suspension.
If coming with children,
SWRCにはレンタルクローラー(レイス1.9)が3台ある。KC10を持っているのが自分だけでも、家族や友人がレンタル機で一緒に走ることができる。
If you are going with someone who does not have a machine,hands-free experience (driving + rental)¥3,000We recommend. For driving only, day camping ¥2,000. For rental only, s¥1,000. Since students aged 15 and under are free of charge except for the rental fee, families can visit with ease.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I run my KC10?
SWRC (SUPERWILD RC and Camp Field) is located at 1613 Mifukigawan Uwanagawa, Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture, where you can drive. The driving area is over5000㎡, with five sections: rock, water’s edge, trail, rally, and buggy. KC10-style EP (electric) crawlers can also run without any issues. It is about a 120-minute drive from the city center.
Can I run a stock KC10?
You can enjoy the Trail and Waterside sections with even a stock KC10. However, there are some parts of the Rock section’s large steps or the Rally section’s high-speed zones that may be difficult for an unmodified stock machine. The estimated difficulty levels for each section are described in the main text; we recommend starting from the easier sections first.
Can I enjoy it with my family?
Yes. SWRC has 3 rental crawlers (Wraith 1.9) available, so even companions who do not have their own machines can join in. The hands-free experience (driving + rental) is ¥3,000, and for students aged 15 or younger, it is free except for the rental fee.
